About the Artist

Victoria Armstrong, known as Screaming Monkeys, is a collage artist and zine maker from Palmerston North. Their work explores the surreal, the strange, and the wonderfully weird, using found images to transform the familiar into dreamlike and unexpected compositions. Their art has recently been shown at the Wellington Art Show. They have attended zinefests across the North Island, embracing the raw, DIY energy of zine culture. Through collage, Victoria invites others to experiment, play, and uncover strange connections in everyday imagery.
